Halloween Time!

Halloween was always one of my most favorite times of the year! The seasons are starting to change, school would have been in session for just over a month and it was the first fun "holiday" to roll around. Plus, back in the 1960's, you were able to wander all over town collecting candy until your bag was overflowing. Nowadays, seems like parents only take their kids to relative's houses or to planned Halloween gatherings. We're lucky if we get 10 kids in our part of Southern California.

So what's there to be grumpy about? Well, there's always something.

Why don't they make great costumes like Ben Cooper used to? These were the greatest. Even when they were made out of flammable materials!

I had a 1960's version of this Frankenstein costume. It wasn't the rubbery-looking non-flammable type like this one. It could go up at the flick of a match! A real man's man costume!

Another one of my ToonDoo creations. Whoop-tee-doo.
